If I could give zero stars, I would! If you are a home-owner who has the audacity to actually expect to be treated with respect & professionalism AND desire to sell your home, do NOT seek out any realty services from CONNIE SLEATH of POINTS NORTH REAL ESTATE! Obviously all she is looking for is a quick buck and has neither motivation nor desire to assist you in the trials of selling your home. We entered contract with her the summer of 2009 (a YEAR ago!) under her promises and assurances that she would do everything in her power to listen to our needs and represent our home in a professional manner. She has made absolutely NO effort whatsoever to listen to us, adhere to our wishes, answer our calls, respect our position, NOR sell our home at a reasonable price. She is almost impossible to get ahold of and rarely, if EVER returns your calls, no matter if you call her house, cell, or office! We specifically asked her to call us after every showing of our home. She has never ONCE called us after a showing to update us on how things went. We have to call a million times for weeks to get any kind of response. Also, we made it very clear, on several occassions that no one else was to be in our house unaccompanied by her (e.g. other agents) but time and time again she would let other realtors into our home when she wasn't there. We don't know these people! Would you trust perfect strangers to go trapsing through YOUR home alone? Especially when we told her MANY times! The last straw was when we FINALLY got an offer on our home last week... a RIDICULOUS offer of $195k when our house was on the market for $248k..... seriously? Really? And she encouraged us to meet them half way on the first counter! HA! Does she think we're completely nuts?!! When we balked at this, she actually argued with us, and told us WE were being ridiculous and that we should just take the offer. She honestly couldn't be MORE disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional. We didn't get our asking price out of nowhere, either... it is valued at at LEAST $248 from the town! Well, I won't get into any more detail than that, but with these very same buyers, we were able to get the price that we wanted by NOT listening to Connie Sleath! If we had listened to HER we would have sold our home for $215... 33,000 below asking price! .. on the 1st offer? Does she think we're all stupid? Finally we woke up after the buyer's financing didn't come through and discontinued our relationship with Connie Sleath AND Points North. So here's YOUR wake up call - stay away!
I read the prior posting, this is polar opposite of my experience with Connie Sleath. My dealings with her have always been professional. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a Realtor.
